After capturing all of the footage needed for our trailer, we decided to revise all of this and came to the conclusion that we had to re-film all of the scenes. This is because the setting it was in didn't meet the typical codes and conventions that of a horror trailer.
These conventions where that because we filmed during the afternoon it was still fairly light throughout the whole trailer, this means that we had to shoot the trailer again later on in the day so that it was around sunset. From this complications arose is that there was only a very small timeframe to reshoot this trailer, so we had to film at the location about 4 times in total to get all the footage we needed to satisfy the typical codes and conventions of a horror trailer.
From these reshoots we could use all the footage to simulate a transition from day to night through our trailer.
